Dr. Sarah Hopkins graduated with her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Growing up in Dayton Ohio, she worked with various species from farm animals to exotics, until earning her bachelor’s degree in animal science and biology from The University of Findlay in 2013.

After finishing her clinical training at the University of Florida, Dr. Hopkins and her fiancé John moved to sunny southeast Florida. They currently share their home with two dogs (Mollie & Minnie) and two cats (Meow-Meow & Ferret). While Dr. Hopkins enjoys many facets of the veterinary field, she has special interests in surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine. Her hobbies include biking, backpacking, swimming, and gardening.

Dr. Hopkins was inspired by the amazing team at Hometown Animal Hospital to become a Fear-free certified veterinarian. She strives to provide her patients with the same level of care and compassion she would want for her own four-legged family
