Dr. Bellows is one of only six board-certified companion animal specialists (canine and feline) in Broward County, as well as one of 190 Board Certified Veterinary Dentists™ in the United States. He began practicing veterinary medicine in 1977 at Pembroke Animal Clinic in Pembroke Pines, FL. Dr. Bellows was certified boarded in Veterinary Dentistry by the American Veterinary Dental College in 1990.  He opened Hometown Animal Hospital/All Pets Dental in Weston, FL. in February of 1999 providing general care for patients as Hometown Animal Hospital and Advanced Dentistry for patients of surrounding veterinarians as All Pets Dental.  Hometown Animal Hospital/All Pets Dental is an American Animal Hospital Association Certified General Practice as well as an American Animal Hospital Certified Dental Specialty Referral Facility. There are only two such certified animal hospitals in Broward County.

Dr. Bellows grew up in New York, attended the University of Florida for undergraduate training and Auburn University for his veterinary degree. He completed a medicine and surgery internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City.

Doctor Bellows has received numerous awards in his career including the Florida Veterinary Medical Association Gold Star Award in 2012. When he is not providing dental care for patients he continues to lecture, conduct on-hand wet-lab training, write, is a consultant for several companion animal companies, and is a resource for other veterinarians.
